January 2012: STRUTIN ON THE RANGE took home top honors at his first AQHA showing in Junior Western Pleasure in at the Florida Gold and Gulf Coast Circuits in Tampa, FL. “Ranger” owned by Olivia Hoecker of Tipp City, OH qualified for the 2012 AQHA World Show while in Florida earning 24 points! Jay Starnes and STRUTIN ON THE RANGE took home circuit championships in Junior Western Pleasure at both Gold and Gulf Coast Circuits. Watch for Jay Starnes and “Ranger” in Junior Western Pleasure at all the major shows this year!!!

August 30, 2011 – At the 2011 AQHA Select World Championship Show held in Amarillo, Texas, Starnes Quarter Horses brought home the gold! A CERTAIN ILLUSION and Mike Hershberger of Milford, NE were crowned World Champions in Performance Halter Mares. This duo also finished an astounding 4th place in Western Pleasure.

JUAN HOT CHIP and Max Row of Ft. Worth, TX also competed at the Select World Championship Show and brought home a 5th place finish in Western Pleasure, as well as the 3rd place finish in the Intermediate Rider Division. For more
